the appearance
height & weight ; Standing at about six feet tall, Carter is very muscular and has this presence about him. He knows he looks good, something that he uses to his advantage whenever possible. Coupled with his bad boy persona, his looks make him all the more yummy to the ladies.
hair ; His dirty blond hair hangs down to just above his shoulders and it is usually untidy and disheveled, unless he has a rather important and dressy occasion to attend, though those are rather few and far between for this man.
eyes ; His eyes are the perfect shade of blue that make you just want to get lost in them and not know where you are.
facial features ; his face is more on the squared side, handsome and rugged, his jaw is firm and solid to go along with that. His nose is straight, definitive, and it sits directly in the middle of his face.
distinguishing features ; Carter was lucky enough to have a birthmark on his left forearm that consists of a few small darker brown spots. Another mark of his, one that he usually keeps hidden either under long sleeved shirts or with concealment charms is his Dark Mark, located on his right forearm. While most know the kind of man he is, considering he is the black sheep of the family, but that doesn’t mean he goes parading it around that he is a Death Eater and all that. Another distinguishing mark that he has is a scar that is right above his right eye, a gift from his older brother Maxwell when they were young and stupid and wresting in the garden. Needless to say that neither one of them even knew that rock was there.
style ; Carter is the type that likes to be comfortable. He’ll usually wear jeans when he is not at work, which requires his practice gear for Quidditch, and usually a loose fitting long sleeved shirt, the sleeves rolled up about a third of the way if the weather was nice. Often he’d wear either a white, black or gray wife beater underneath the shirt, leaving the top few buttons open of the outer shirt to show it and so that it didn’t choke him. His shoes were often comfortable sneakers. Sweats are another favorite of his, but that is just a lounging around the house sort of thing. When he wears robes, he usually prefers dark blue or green and then also black, of course. He is not really a fan of dressing up; though he will when the need calls for.

likes ;

• women;; if looks could kill, then Carter would have almost every female imaginable falling over dead. And the fact that he plays Quidditch only makes him more appealing to the women. He knows the right things to say and can make almost any girl swoon with a simple wink or brush of her cheek. He loved women and they loved him. He would never change that because he enjoys it way too much. Another thing he and his older brother Max have in common. He doesn’t really have standards when it’s just a shag– and by standards, that means blood type doesn’t matter – thought he has made an exception for marrying below a pureblood for Rachel. But Rachel wasn’t your average half-blood female vixen; no, she was a deadly murderess that could make someone piss their pants just by looking at them in a rather menacing way… yet she looked so fragile if you didn’t know who she was. Always made the power struggle in the bedroom an interesting one –smirks-
  
• cooking;; it’s one of his closet things, really. Not many people know that he likes to cook; Rachel, Devon, Fallon, Sierra and the kids know he can and that is pretty much it. he loves to cook and often just makes something for the sake of making it; he even sometimes makes things so that they have to be heated so that he can see what things taste better reheated and what doesn’t and all that grandness. He loves trying out new things and he takes pride in the fact that he is a good cook, though no one knows that he is one. Go figure.
  
• torture;; there is nothing more orchestrated than the sound of screams filling his ears. Especially if it is a group deal, multiple people emit multiple sounds. Like those peddlers you see playing the xylophone things or the water glasses; it was just looking for the right pitch, depending on where the victim was hit. He didn’t always just do it the magical way; occasionally he liked to actually play with his victims. He was quite fond of his ‘doctor’s table’ – much like the one he used with Mommy Thatcher – and sometimes even removes and takes a piece of something with him… that way he can send it to the victim’s families later on as another reminder o their loss. He is such a sick fuck, it’s ridiculous. So expect a package one day, Tatey –smirks-
  
• quidditch;; what is not to love about the game? It is just bloody brilliant. And being an athletic guy and a good flyer, not to mention a professional Quidditch player, he excelled and played while a student at Hogwarts and then moved on to the professional realm and signed with the Magpies. Who knew Rachel would end up his teammate and captain too. Look at that craziness. But yeah, the thrill of the game, the excitement and the girls he got from playing it just made his day. He shares this trait with his brother Max as well. He started playing back when he was a kid, along with his two older brothers, and then eventually made it onto his house team as a Chaser. After he left Hogwarts, he became a member of the Montrose Magpies, followed by his close friend Rachel, who is now his team captain.
  
• music;; always a soother for Carter; music helps fuel his mood, whatever it may be. He listens to all kinds of music, even Muggle music – which was one of the only Muggle things he liked, mind you, that and their clothes, though not to sound all girly or anything. When he was mad, he’d throw on some heavier music, usually some sort of heavy metal music, he’d go softer when he wanted to relax, sometimes even going as far as throwing on the right tunes for the right mood. He was good at that sort of thing and loved listening to it all. well, maybe not opera or country; those are just yuck to him.
  

dislikes ;

• Derrick;; it is hard to say this and not lie, though it isn’t entirely a lie either. Carter and Derrick are friends, well they were friends, but they aren’t anymore. It was probably the whole thing with him sort of stealing Rachel out from under Derrick’s nose while they were engaged to be married. But it wasn’t that he had meant to do it, Carter had been rather disgruntled about the engagement, but he never said a word about it; not until she pretty much forced him to. And then she kissed him and he couldn’t help but respond to it. What was he supposed to do? Without even talking to him about it, or even mentioning it, she broke off the engagement and then told him that’s he had had an affair with his best mate Devon. But yeah, he and Derrick are done now, and with him recently finding out that he is really Liam Paige – Rachel told him that night after she got home from Hogsmeade and found out herself – he is hoping that he doesn’t try anything stupid to get himself into trouble and shine light on them. He hated being in the limelight when it came to the ministry.
  
• ‘the cool kid’;; there is a saying, well probably a Muggle saying, but a saying nonetheless that Carter has heard before and he kind of likes it and agreed with it. The saying is ‘who brought the cool kid?’ and the ‘cool kid’ is that kid that just has to be the butt of the situation. Like say there’s a party (and this is in real human world mind you) and then there is that kid that drinks too much and say throws p all over the couch or spills something dark on something light in the house that the parents of the person throwing the party would kill the for. The kid that did that would be the ‘cool kid’ and those are the types of people that he cannot stand. The ones that kill the moment, that make the situation worse off then it was before.
  
• Fallon;; how could he like her? But how could he not like her. As her twin brother’s best friend – and yes that is possible for Carter – and former roommate as Carter has moved into the house with Rachel, they were around one another a lot. And as a former housemate, school Quidditch mate and then even a former teammate on the Magpies, he knows just about everything about her. He knows about her past and the things that she has done for the organization; the missions they have done together… among other things. It was bound to happen at least once; they never thought it would become a recurring thing. But damn can that woman move and bend. A fellow Chaser she was, so she was agile just like him. There is more to them that meets the eye, that is for sure. And the fucked part about it was this: she was everything Rachel was not. It was harsh, yes it was, but she was the pureblood that Rachel could never be, and her ruthlessness rivaled Rachel’s; but his love was still for Rachel. Fallon knew this and she was cool with it, but that is why he dislikes her so much. Not that he hates her, it’s just that he doesn’t want her, though he can have her, and she is what he should want, but he just doesn’t.
  
• electricity;; not really a fan of this one, stupid Muggle things –rolls eyes- When Carter was about eight years old, he was electrocuted by one of those stupid Muggle contraptions that his parents used to fiddle around with. His home was slightly ‘Muggle-fied’ and he hated it, especially since a lot of the stuff they had never really seemed to work for him; it was as if that stuff could sense that he was different than the rest of his family. Anyhow, he had been hungry and wanted just a slight bit of toast to snack on. Normally he’d have used the oven, but his father had brought him this thing he called a toaster oven the day before so Carter decided to try it out. Yeah, no, not a good idea as Carter would stick his finger in it to try and take his toast out and electrocuted himself.
  
• bright lights;; makes it so much harder for him to sneak up on his victims. Made the art of surprise a bit harder to get the job done right. It also means that he has to actually look at the woman whose bed he has shared. And it has been his opinion after a night of excessive drinking that it isn’t always good to actually see the broad that you went home with the night before; that, though, always made him happier to know that he went home with her and not the other way around.
  

strengths ;

• secrets;; now this is one thing Carter has down pat. He has been keeping secrets his entire life, never letting anyone know that his mind had darker tendencies than the rest of his family. No one knew of this until it was his time to go to Hogwarts and was sorted Slytherin, a devastating blow to his family. He also keeps the secret that he is a death Eater, learning Occlumency to keep those pesky Aurors and other Ministry officials from trying to get into his brain for information they are not allowed to have.
  
• smarts;; just because he plays Quidditch and doesn’t work for the Ministry to St. Mungo’s or something, didn’t mean he wasn’t smart. In actuality, Carter had the best of both worlds; book smart and street smart. He just has this thing about going really fast and doing death defying stunts that just makes it all worth it. He could do something else should he ever get hurt to where he couldn’t play or whatever else may happen – like being banned from playing for personal fouls of the more violent nature – to him.
  
• breaking you down;; if there is one thing that Carter is rather good at, and this has proven to be a rather handy tool when it comes to his victims, is that he is very good at finding a person’s weak spot. A lot of times, when he has a task to do like he did over the summer, he will scope out his target and figure out where and when they go places. He likes to see where they are at all times so that he can figure out when the easiest time and place would be for him to strike. He likes to know what makes people tick and he is usually pretty good at getting it right.
  

weaknesses ;

• inability to love;; how is one to show love if they have never experienced it growing up? Well that is one thing that Carter lacks in his life; his parents, almost from the get go, never showed him any love as a child or young adult. That might be one reason why he became the kind of guy he is today: mean, nasty, inconsiderate and a womanizer. He has no feelings for people when it comes to sympathy or love, those emotions are unheard of to him, though he has come close to feeling the word love with only one person… and she knows who she is. There are, of course, a few exceptions to this. Granted it is a short list, but there is a list: Rachel, Devon, Sierra, Al, Kai, Chris, Tanc, Nadja, Fallon
  
• Rachel;; she is a half-blood, he should despise her with all of his being, and yet he cannot help but be drawn to her. Ever since they had met, the pair was like one unit. They played Quidditch together when they were at Hogwarts together, they play Quidditch together even still on the Magpies. And it actually goes way deeper than just that though, for him at least. Ever since Rachel was sorted Slytherin and he found out that she was a half-blood, he felt that it was an injustice and that there had to be a mistake. He didn’t take to her immediately, but he still kept his eyes on her. Hard to explain really, but it was more of the ‘well she has to be in Slytherin for a reason’ kind of thin and he eventually became her friend. Over the years, it was his closeness with his youngest sister Sierra, a half-blood that no one knows is a half-blood but the Cullen family, that let him grow soft for Rachel; that and that Rachel had proven herself to be a worthy Slytherin, Quidditch player and Death Eater. All in all, she literally was a woman after his own heart. A praying mantis, if you will, but just without the ability to kill him after a roll in the hay. And the fact that he could even verbally tell her that he loved her and even marry her to top it all, then that just goes to show you that even the most unloving and emotionless bastard can have a bleeding heart.
  
• Dita;; as much as he would hate to say it, he just cannot get that lovely temptress out of his mind, even while married to Rachel. Now he would never cheat on Rachel, or even put himself in the position where it could happen, which would be why he usually only saw Dita when he visited her shop in Diagon Alley or if they met up at a café or something for a drink or two. It was never just them and for good reason. Their history goes back several years and he had always thought about her, even since they first met. If anyone had a way of leaving a first impression on you that would blow your mind, Dita was one of them and he had definitely been blown away. It was so hard to be her friend and nothing more, but he respected Rachel enough and would not cheat on her, nor would Dita allow him to, despite how badly she told him she wished she didn’t have a conscious. He had agreed whole heartedly.

amortentia ; blood, for it is usually under either his or Rachel’s fingernails; sweat, for it reminds him of Quidditch and how much fun he has playing; vanilla and papaya, for the combination of soap and shampoo that Rachel uses; garlic, because it is one of the things he puts in everything that he cooks and he just loves how it adds the right flavor to food; Florean’s because the new flavors are always interesting yet tasty and that is a place where him and Rachel frequent often, no matter what the outside weather was.

dementor ; the realization at such a young age that his family really just didn’t care about him at all. it was hard for a young boy to accept, but he as come to grips with it and is much better for it
patronus ; a happy memory of his, one that he used to first attempt to cast his patronus, was being sorted into Slytherin an not having to hide his true thoughts and beliefs any longer. However, that memory would not hold up to cast the patronus and then the next one for him would have been making the Magpies. However, as a rather disgruntled soul, that memory did not last for him either. Sure it may have at first, but the end result was never clear. Lately though, he would have to say that his most powerful and happy memory would be when him and Rachel got married after she got wicked jealous while they were at dinner and she jammed a knife into this broad’s arm because she recognized him at a bar from a past thing they had once had. Talk about showing your jealousy in an obvious fashion. –smirks- and the form of this bad boy is a fox.
personality ;
Carter is the only one of his family that actually thinks blood status means something. Growing up, he heard lots of different views on this matter and he soon came to find that those who desired a separation amongst the wizarding world were correct in their ideals and he soon adopted them. This was one of the main reasons why he was disowned at age twenty-one.

Now there is not question about this on;. Carter Cullen is the epitome of the black sheep of the Cullen family. He is completely unlike his parents and siblings, almost to the core, though he does share some similar qualities and traits that his siblings and parents have, but those are very rare instances. He sings to a completely different tune, a harder and more metallic (heavy metal) one than his family, who he looks at as being more of a soft rock or easy listening tune.

Now this is something that Carter is very good at. He knows how to work people, to make them think one thing that is completely the opposite of the truth. How does he do it? Well that is partly due to his sexy looks and his husky voice. He knows just how to say things to people when he either needs something or he has to get out of something. He is not one to change for people, but he is good at getting others to change for him. He didn’t ask for this, but he isn’t complaining about it either.

If there is one thing that Carter can lay claim to, it is that he is focused. He doesn’t usually go off and do things on a ‘spur of the moment’ whim and rarely does he just act out for no reason whatsoever. Carter is more of the silent brooder type, the sort that holds it all in and then never lets it out. however, if he is to let it out, you might be better of ducking or running for cover because it will be explosive.

They somewhat went hand in hand so being good at one helped with being good at the other. It’s a wonder why he never did anything with it; he loved Quidditch and that was it. worst subject ; oh please, nothing was worse than listening to that damn ghost droning on and on about nothing. Carter had been glad that he had been able to continue on with his NEWT level for it but was proudly able to say HELL NO!

history ; Now talk about an interesting family. The Cullens, on the outside, look like they are the perfect family, but that is far from the case nowadays. They were like most wizarding families, into Quidditch and all of the sorts, and treated everyone equally. Born in the second half of April, as the third oldest son to Shyanne and Lazlow Cullen, Carter was given a lot of love just like the rest of his siblings. That was definitely one thing Carter could never complain about. He was never treated poorly or looked down upon by anyone in his family… at least not at first.

It’s hard to put into words, the history that is of the one and only Carter Cullen. The black sheep of the Cullen Clan; this one was the sort that always seemed to shy away from the rest of the family and kept to himself. He was often in trouble when he didn’t listen to what his parents or even his older siblings told him to do. He always just seemed to have an attitude with them so they just kept away from him; they didn’t talk to him, he didn’t talk to them. The only time they did talk was for absolutely necessary reasons, like if he was ill – and even that had to be agreed on when he had pneumonia one winter and never told them. He had bee in St. Mungo’s for a few days before he retuned home and then he had to ‘lay down some ground rules’ with his parents. Apparently they didn’t like the silent treatment that he gave them almost all the time. They had agreed that he would have to eat every meal with them that they shared at home and he would have to let them know if he was sick or anything that would be considered an emergency of any kind.

His room had been where he spent most of his time, reading books and wizarding comics; he didn’t socialize with his family much and he rarely shared meals with him. At first his mother had left him food, but he’d never touched it. He’d end up sneaking downstairs in the middle of the night and nicking some food for under a loose floorboard in his bedroom and then, during the day when no one was really home or they were just too busy doing their own thing, he would go into the kitchen and make himself something to eat. Many of the books he had read when he was in his room were cookbooks. He took books from the downstairs shelves daily and exchanged them for the ones he has already read until he ran out of books to read. He had left notes for his parents to get him books when they went out of they could, or even for Christmas, but they never did. It was always as if he had been invisible, and then he wondered why they ever cared that he didn’t acknowledge them. He had grown to hate them, especially how they would dote on his older and younger siblings… they honestly made hi feel like he wasn't really there and that he truly wasn't a part of the family. Damn the last name that connected them. He would deal with that until he would reach Hogwarts, and then his life would finally just all come together.

His school days were all right, though there wasn't anything to really get all bent out of shape about. He befriended two very cool people, Derrick Kearney and Rachel Cook, and the three became practically inseparable. Now sure there is a lot of underlying tension and what have you between the three, but sometimes you just can’t help certain things, right? Well anyway, those two made his Hogwarts days more bearable for him. He had them and Quidditch, two things he doesn’t think he could ever live without and he is so glad that he has them both. Well, ok, so there was one instance where life got a bit interesting for Carter, but it involves his two closest friends, a broom closet and an unwanted duel. Yes, you guessed right, Carter and Rachel hooked up; and boy was Derrick not happy. Carter and the older wizard ended up dueling, which Derrick won because he was older and more advanced with magic at the time, and that left Carter’s ego a bit bruised, though not for long when him and Rachel became an item. He stole her right out from under Derrick’s nose and he relished in the fact that it pissed the older man off. But unfortunately, he and Rachel didn’t last and she ended up going back to Derrick. Well, Derrick may have won the war, but Carter had won at least one or two of the battles.

Upon leaving Hogwarts, Carter became a Death Eater and also a professional Quidditch player, a Chaser for the Montrose Magpies. His family found out about his affiliation around the time of his twenty-first birthday and they all disowned him for it. Did he care? No, not really, though it did bother him a little at first that his family could just walk away from him like he was never in the family at all. He was surprised, however, that they never asked him to change his name, though he never would just be because he would want to spite them. His life has been somewhat all right as of late. He still plays for the Magpies, though he is once again single and probably to stay that way for the rest of his life like he had originally planned on and trying to get a handle on his life again. Yes, the black hearted black sheep of the Cullen family has fallen in love and married followed by divorced the woman that he loves, who just so happens to be his team captain.
